Señor Resume FAQ
1. How do reviews work?
When you purchase a review, we will send you a link where you can securely upload your existing resume or cover letter and a small questionnaire we will provide you that clarifies the purpose of the resume/cover letter, as well as your expectations. We will review your uploaded documents and contact you if we have any questions or need any clarification regarding the information you have provided. As soon as the review is complete, we will send you a pdf and word versions of your documents.
2. What format will my resume/cover letter be?
The format for each resume/cover letter will vary depending on a variety of factors including: the amount of experience that the customer would like to include, the industry the customer will be looking to work in, and any special requests from the customer. If no formatting preference is stated, Señor Resume will pick a format that they believe will work best based on what has been seen to be effective in the industry.
3. Do I get additional revisions?
With the standard resume review service you will get one revision once your resume or cover letter has been delivered. You will then have 2 weeks from the date the document was delivered to request the revision or ask any clarification questions. After the two weeks, a new resume review will need to be purchased. If you believe you will need many revisions you can also purchase our resume review with unlimited revisions.
4. When will I get my resume/cover letter?
For the review services, you will have your resume or cover letter returned to you within 48 hours. For a new resume or cover letter, the finalized document will be delivered within 5 business days. Express services are available upon request for an additional fee. Please contact us for a quote on the express service.
5. I don't currently have a resume, can I still use your services?
Of course! Our resume/cover letter creation service is perfect for customers who don't currently have a resume and need help getting started.
6. What about cover letters? Is the service different than resumes?
Our cover letter creation and review services are almost exactly the same as our resume services. The main difference is that we may have additional questions regarding the position/company you will be applying for.
7. What information do I need to provide?
When you purchase a review or new resume you will be asked to include your existing resume (if possible) and fill out a questionnaire that will be provided to you immediately after purchase. If we have any additional questions regarding the information you have provided we will reach out through phone or email.
8. Does my new resume guarantee me a job?
The goal of our services is to give you the best possible chance of landing an interview and securing a position. However, there are many factors that influence whether a company decides to proceed with an interview/job offer so we cannot guarantee employment.
9. Is my information protected?
Any information you provide to Señor Resume is for internal use only and will not be distributed to any 3rd party. All credit card transactions are secured and encrypted.
10. Do you offer translation services?
At Señor Resume we are glad to offer translation of documents from English to Spanish and vice-versa. If you are interested in this service please contact us for a personalized quote.
11. When do you schedule mock interviews?
Since a typical interview will take at least an hour, we try to schedule interviews early in the morning (6 - 8 am) or in the evening/night (6-11 pm). to accommodate our customers' busy schedules. When you purchase a mock interview session, you will receive a form asking you to include the times that work best for you and we will do our best to work around the times that you provide.
