About Señor Resume 

Señor Resume's goal is to make it as easy and quick as possible for job seekers to find the job of their dreams. With almost a decade of experience in career services, Señor Resume has been able to help hundreds of job seekers on the road to their new career. Throughout the past decade Señor Resume has successfully applied to positions across a variety of fields. This experience, combined with training and experience in career services, gives Señor Resume industry insights that most career advisers are unable to provide. 

Our Story

My name is Daniel and I am the founder of Señor Resume. I have been applying to internships ever since I was in high school and one of the things I first realized was how difficult it could be to get started on creating a resume. Simple decisions such as which format to use or what content to include lead to endless writer's block and frustration with each new attempt at crafting the perfect resume.  
As I grew older the struggle continued and it became apparent that I needed to learn more about how to write effective resumes as efficiently as possible. Thankfully, when I was in college I was able to obtain a position with my university's career resource center where I was able to help students with creating and editing their resumes, cover letters, and personal statements. In addition, I was also responsible for preparing students for interviews and teaching the concepts involving job searching and salary negotiation to organizations all around campus. 
As I progressed in my degree, it finally came time to put all of my knowledge into action and see if I could use the concepts I had been teaching to successfully further my own career. The results amazed me! Within a few weeks I had interviewed with and received offers from Amazon, Apple, General Electric, Anheuser-Busch, and Proctor and Gamble. I was super happy and since all of my friends studying within the same field had similar grades and experience I figured they all would have had the same success. However, I soon realized that even though many of those friends were as smart or even much smarter than me, they were having trouble landing the positions they were looking for.
After looking over their resumes and reviewing how their interviews were going I realized many patterns that I had been able to avoid based on what I had learned through my work and I started to help my friends prepare better for their next job searches. 
The results were great and each of my friends started to get amazing positions. A few years have passed since then, and I have now been able to work across several industries and experience each of their unique recruiting practices. The more I have worked the more I have realized that there are so many great candidates for jobs that are just a few tips away from making a great career for themselves. My goal is to provide these candidates with an easy and affordable way to showcase their skills in a way that gives them the best possible chance to land the job they are applying for.
